Thread: Stereo mic input on canon zr900?

  1. #1

Question Stereo mic input on canon zr900?

The canon zr900 has built-in stereo mics and also a mic jack. Does anyone know if its possible to get some kind of adapter so I can plug a pair of lapel mics in so one records on the left channel and one on the right?

    Would something like this work?

    1/8" Dual Mono Jack to 1/8" Stereo Plug Y-Adapter - RadioShack.com

I guess its only $5, I guess I'll just try.

It should suffice for your camera. I used something very similar on a Sony palmcorder and it worked.
