Thread: DV playback to camcorder harmless ?

Default DV playback to camcorder harmless ?

I was wondering if connecting your camcorder with firewire and use it for playing back during editing in for instance premiere pro is harmfull to your camera.

This feature is neat, I use it make titles and watch them on the lcd-screen.
Every adjustment is directly viewable on it.

Hope this does nothing to your camcorder.

Any (bad) experiences with this ?

I understand your reluctance to leave your camcorder on. I would pressume that if there was a down-side as there would probably be warnings a go-go on editing software!!

I use my ADVC100 for this purpose...
