Default Adobe Premiere and JPG images

Hi - I'm trying to make a stop motion video with adobe premier... my questions is:

When I import the jpg into premiere... the jpg does not seem to fit thr width of the video (I'm trying to make HDV 1080). There are these 2 black space on the left and right of the frame... is there any way to fit the image to the frame?

    Thanks!

You can scale the image larger to fill the frame, what version of Premiere are you using?

Did you know that Premiere Elements has a Stop Motion Capture built in?

I found my answer with this video: vimeo.com/2845917

The guy was kind enough to blog about it on his website. Thanks.
