How do you save a movie in Adobe Premier Elements as a lower quality?

My cousin made a 6-minute video using premier elements by Adobe and it's over 1GB in size. I need to cut that down quite a bit to be able to upload it to YouTube. I'm assuming there is a way to save it to a size that would be ideal for YouTube.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Depending on the version there is a format especially for YouTube.
Depending on what version you have exporting is different.

You may have to go to the Share tab and select, YouTube or Web/Internet.
You may have to go to the main menu - File/Export/ various options.

H.264 is good, so is WMV or FLV
