Thread: Shortening picture display time once inserted...

  1. Default Shortening picture display time once inserted...

    Hi all!

I just chose a set of pictures to include in my timeline, and the default display time is 5sec.

I'm still coming up a little long on time and don't really want to thin the pack out any more.

Is there a way to adjust/shorten the display time for a selected set of pictures in a timeline without having to edit each individually? Already tried grouping.

    Thanks!
    Craig

    You were nearly there too.

    1] Group

2] Hold Down Ctrl and GRAB end of group with your LEFT mouse button and "Squash" Group by moving Mouse cursor to centre of the new Group - I've just done this to 5-sec stills and reduced all to 1-sec stills

It would appear this might be a 5:1 ratio, if you want something smaller than 1 sec then you'd need another approach. Maybe a "Nest" using a velocity envelope PLUS this method? Or the use of a script. But if this 5:1 ratio is fine, then you are good to go.

Yup, that'll do it... And here I was CTRL-grabbing the right end of the timeline and getting nowhere. <rolls eyes>

    Stoopid learning curve.

    Many thanks,
