    Default Pinnacle Capturing Problem

Hello, I have a problem with Pinnacle Studio's capturing section. I direct machinima-type videos, and only use Studio to capture. I have Studio 10 Plus version if that helps.

The problem is that since I started recording in widescreen, the clips are all much too bright and they still don't take up the entire screen, the clips just don't take up full capacity inside the player. I'm only using Studio 10 to capture, I use Sony Vegas to edit. Is there something I can do in Sony Vegas to fix this problem, or something I need to do in Studio? Thanks in advance for any help.

The link above is an example of what I'm talking about. The brightness isn't so much of a problem since I can color correct and all that, but the lines are starting to piss me off. Help, please!
