Yea - full marks for an ocd like dedication lists - some cool gear on there - but I cant help notiing that mixing pro and consumer may make the list less accessible to people who might value it.

Putting a avchd disaster cam next to the red is like asking George Micheal to stay for coffee on the off chance.

They really shouldnt be on the same list, or on the same planet even - lols.

    you got a good point.

A $120,000 camera and a $899 camera definitely appeal to different people....
I like looking at them all though. I am a camera junkie!

Oh yea me too - some right odd stuff on that list - cool !
Wouldnt you just die for one of those very early sony betacams? - like in back to the future.

I have a small collection of old film cameras - just as soon as I can afford to eat again i will get me one of the above and a few other ealry electronic classics.

If anyone reads this who has got any old iron - working or no - drop me a pm. ta.

    Default i'm curious

What is your interest in an old sony betacam?

I was there when they first came out! I was at the NAB convention in 1982 (?) and the guy got pissed at me cuz I said i would really rather have the camera on one shoulder and a recorder on the other to balance out

I do not own one, but have used a bunch. My shoulder still fucking hurts! Today I use a mini dv and it weighs less than a pound!

Old wimpy bitch that I am

    OMG an old orange JVC.

I used to use one of those back in the early 80's and it needed at least three suns worth of light to get a decent picture. Maybe they have improved!

A standard bright sunny day just was not enough!
