    UPDATE: the server was last night upgraded, and it seems this is conflicting with some installed software. I have turned off a feature, which has temporarily fixed the issue. However, it's not a long term fix and I am still looking into this.

    Couldn't open this topic to read it - what's it all about? where am I?
    Is it day or is it night, am I wrong or am I right?
    Icicles, bicycles, test ........ ing one two three.

    I think the technical term is, "it's all gone tits up".

    I've now stripped down the forums to its bare flesh, so some functionality has been removed.

    With any luck (touch wood and all that) the forums should now but back to normality. Whatever that is.

    You will no doubt note that a few of the functions previously lavished upon you have been stolen away. This was due to rigerous investigation of the cause of the 'tits up' that occured late last night.

    These are namely:

    Video of The month;
    Forums statistics at the top of the page;
    Users on line in the last 24 hours at the bottom of the page; and
    a few other things I can't remember.

    So the question is, do we put them back? Video of the Month was excellent but confusing as hell to everyone but me. It was also prone to error. So from now on,I'llcreate a poll at the end of the month and we'll all vote for a few days at the start of the next. Then we'll have a winner!

    Sorry for all this fuss.

    You cannot possibly apologise Marc. If something goes wrong, I'm sure we all understand and appreciate the fact that this board is a free for all resource that costs you time, money and (judging from the last 24hrs) heartache.

    Don't sweat it. When it's right again it's right.
