Default problem with video export set up

I export the file on premier and file size is around 300 mb. It is quite big compared with the file of my friend that are exported on Final cut. How to make exported file in premiere smaller?
Besides, I 've got another problem, is that the final movie got two different stripe in the upside and downside of the frame (similar to the referenced picture). How to get rid of that?
    Thank you

two things that can reduce filesize:
    1. output dimensions. if that is the default export dimensions, the video has a lot more information to save per frame. you can always reduce the dimensions in your project settings, and probably as you go to export as well.
    2. codec.you have many codecs to choose from. you probably picked one that is closer to a raw output, i qould recommend xvid for small filesize but still keeping good quality video. h.264 and divx also work well, but the quality reduction will be noticeable.

and the black bars are supposed to be there with widescreen. if you don't like them though i suppose you could remove them by changing the dimensions of your project.

i would also recommend exporting in aftereffects instead of premiere though, AE has far superior rendering options
