  1. Default Anyome got the Canon fs-10?

I want to buy it but it says it has 8 gb of internal memory. Is that a lot? And would I need to buy an additional memory card?

You said you were looking at getting a MiniDV camera. And you're a media student. MiniDV is THE way to go if you want to edit. Everything else is a compromise. (Actually MiniDV is a compromise - just not so much of one. You'd have to get pro gear for better)
