Default Video output on DVD. Not nice. why?

Hi all, i have been burning my video into DVD for years. But all these years i wasn't satisfied with the output. The software i used are Ulead Video Studio and Ulead DVD Movie Factory. The AVI file i play on computer is fine. But once i burn into DVD, the quality seems to be dropped. Seems like the flame rate is reduced. It can be seen clearly when i pan angle from left to right. It is not smooth. Any idea to solve this? Thanks

You need to set the bit rate to the highest level, but still allows the video to get onto the DVD

Keep the DVD to no more then 2 hours

The AVI is not normally as compressed as much as an MPEG2 file is.

Also - make sure you are using interlaced originals and are making interlaced discs - they play more smoothly.
