Default How to cut the tail off my project?

I'm using elements 3 for a home vid.

The project runs for 2:30 mins

I cant seem to create an end point.

I save the project, but it also saves about 20:00 mins of dead air.

How do I tell it where/when to stop?

    Thanks anyone.

One possibility, if you are exporting via 'export>movie', then look at the 'settings' dialogue after you choose to export, but before you save to see if you are exporting 'work area bar' or 'entire timeline'.

If 'work area bar' is selected, and you're work area bar is stretched beyond your actual footage, you'll end up with blank space after.

Thanks Godlesswonder, I got it sorted.
Funny thing, I had been jigging around with the work area bar for hours thinking it was the problem, then for some reason I decided to piss it off and move it off my work area, out over the blank space on the timeline and voila!

Straight away the project stopped correctly in the monitor, and exported correctly.

    Who'da thunk it?
