Default Drunk bloke with a cam...

One of my mates got married yesterday... so I volunteered to be the drunk bloke with a cam. Cobbled something together this evening:

Ideal, liked that. Nice, simple, and effective work.

I like the warm colour grading - matched the warm feel of the piece well.
Were you using just the available light? For a dim environment, it didn't seem excessively grainy?
My only crisicism - I noticed a bit of vignetting (esp lower right)

I used a 3 year old, 200 quid little DV camera. Nothing else. The vignetting was added in post, but the translation to 4:3 (to make sure the upload to youtube et al didn't squish the image) can sometimes mean the effect is lost in the added borders.

Taking the equipment you had in to consideration, I thought that was excellent. You do do people well! and I have no doubt they will love it.

The only thing that suffered was sound, but then you have not gone their with full gear so inevitable!

Hope they are paying you for it.........

    Cheers,

The sound was simply awful to the point of unusable. I'd already told my mate that I wouldn't be able to have anything audible.

No money changed hands. The B&G are good friends, and they know I "dabble". I was more than happy to take along a cheapo camera on the agreement that what they got was what they got!

Bit of an understatement I'd say. Good results Marc.
