    If you HAD to work in TV, what area would you idealy be in? I think I'd love to work on documentaries...

    I'd be a researcher, or a writer i reckon. I just generally like working on sets too, so anything really. I'm more into comedies or documentaries though. I'd work on anything HBO did too, so i guess dramas too...

    aah, see, i only see what few shows we get over here, and what i download (yep, i'm a bad boy!).

    Are they just random short films, or are they actually made/financed/whatever by HBO?

    Alot film festivals in the states, like Sundance film festival and the New York Film Festival have short film contests, as well as full length production contests. Well, usually HBO and CInimax and all these TV reps go to all of them, just in case they see something that really rocks, and want to buy it. So yeah, itd be tough, making a short film for every film festival, but i hear you get abuot 50 grand for one of your short films.
