    Default Quick question

I'm new, and I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but I'll go for it

I use MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 14, and I'm just playing around on it at the moment, getting used to the different features. But I don't know how to put a clip into black and white? If anyone uses this software could they give me a hand?

I don't know the s/w in question but if you have effects you can apply to footage then the magic words to look for for b+w are 'saturate/desaturate'.

Assuming you can do it though, after desaturating to get your black and white what you really need to do then is add a little bit on contrast to the b+w footage. About 6% is usually enough. Just gives it a little bit extra. You'll see.

Thanks, I've found the decrease saturation effect, and it goes black and white

Don't forget to consider the contrast change as well.
