Thread: Exporting Time?

  1. #1

    Default Exporting Time?

I have a rather small project thats about 2 and a half minutes long. I did File > Export > Adobe Media Encoder > Windows Media. I understand its about 6000 frames long, but should it really be taking an hour to encode?

Help appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

That's probably right. Depends on what type of effects in your 'project' and the spec of your PC though.

Export is not a real-time affair (usually) so don't expect it to be.

an hour for 2.5 mins? Not really normal but depends on a million and one factors including: effects used, CPU power and amount of passes.
