    Default Professional?

...or paid amateurs? Been looking at some of the travesties that are online samples of wedding videographers.

    1) complete lack of undestanding of editing to music
    2) no attempt at de-interlacing
    3) washed out colours
    4) cheesy effects/transitions

Why would I do this you may ask? Well, I like filming and I really like editing... so doing a few weddings would be a good way of having a bit of fun (and getting paid). Plus, I really think I could do a better job...

...but then I would say that.

    Suggestions:

    - Showreel.
    - Free example DVD of your work
    - Insert something along the following on your website: "Filming the most important day of your life is much, much more than simply picking up a camcorder and recording whatever happens"

All of em. Put up this page: http://www.marcpeters.co.uk/wedding-video-services.htm and have created a sample DVD with a funky intro and menu with a few montages to select.
