    Thumbs up Allocation Unit Size

I just bought this 1T(1,000gb) Hard Drive with Firewire USB2.0 and I DON'T KNOW WHATS THE BEST "ALLOCATION UNIT SIZE."

    It gives me:
    -Default allocation size
    -4096 bytes

I'm going to be storing my miniDV tapes in
    "standard avi"
    but mainly "Hi Def .m2t"
    Captured in Sony Vegas 8

And working out of the Hard Drive

    Windows XP SP2
    2.20GHZ 3.25 GB RAM
