Default Trouble Capturing with Avid Express Pro

I've hooked my Canon XH-A1 up to the computer and opened up the Capture Tool in Avid. Now it seems to be picking up the camera, as I can rewind and fastward the tape (It plays back on the camera display screen, not the computer). It can mark in points and out points.

However when I click that I want Video and Audio channels 1 and 2 it says "No Input Signal Present".

What am I doing wrong? Can someone please help, I'm completely lost. I used to capturing with a tape deck, so have no idea how to go about sorting this problem out.

    Thanks
