Thread: How to let Sony Vegas handle .flv files ?

  1. Default How to let Sony Vegas handle .flv files ?

    Hi all Sony Vegas experts,

My sister gave me a video file. I tried to load it into Sony Vegas but Sony Vegas cannot recognize the file. The file is in .flv

What format is that ? Sony Vegas cannot handle .flv ? How to convert this format ?

    Thanks

Try changing the file extension to .mp4 (or any other supported by the program).
That worked for me with youtube's videos rescued from google chrome's "cache" folder (i.e: the same you watch in the browser).
