this is a mixed bag :-o am working on a project to transfer VHS footage to Pinnacle 9 av/dv by way of PCI card input socket (RCA)
now the retro bit
what is the watershed between analogue and digital video, please? i mean, when did VHS stop being 100% analogue, and start incorporating 'digital imaging' into VHS cameras?
was there ever an analogue video camera which allowed you to hook up a monitor to it, like nearly all dv cams can today: so that you can actually monitor what you are (studio) filming, on a big screen, while you are videoing the subject?
sorry - i know this is a tardis job, but i am experimenting, and cannot find this info on the web!
