    Default sound settings

    Hi My first post here.

I want to video my ghost hunts in better quality and do some interviews before also. On my cam Sony DCR-HC19E there are 2 sound settings 12 bit or 16 which one do i use? Also cant find a external mic socket so do i take it that i cant use a external mic in anyway??, Videos come out quite well with my resources but i will make no mistake in telling the truth do not know that much about cameras. Thanks and anything else i might need to know basic stuff cheers

    16 bit.

If there's no mic socket there's nowhere to plug the microphone in, which sort-of answers the question.
