    Smile playing a video on top of a video

    hey guys
    looking for some help to whether this is possible and if it is how to do it?
    take this as a example as its easier to explain than what im doing,
    say i recorded a video of a tv, for about 30 seconds, i want to play another video where the tv is, so it looks like the tv is playing this video, is it possible to play a small video on top of the background video thats playing?
    hope ive explained it ok so you dont get confussed

    edit* cant belive i didnt tell you but im using sony pro 8.0

    also i realise theres a bit about picture in picture basic in another thread ive seen, just wondering if that was for song vegas pro 8 because i was struggling to find it, so please dont have a go

    Rather than delete the post, why don't you post how you solved your problem so others can find the answer too Danny...

    Hello kgreaves1,

    If i understand this problem right, you want to place a video over another video and make it a bit smaller, right?

    Now this what you have to do.
    First, place your video on the timelime.
    Now, place another video on the track above it.
    Click on the middle icon called 'Event pan/crop'.
    Now make the 'F' icon bigger. By dragging the corners.
    If your doing it good, you should be able to see both of your video's

    I hope you know what to do now.
