First effort with this software. I'm putting together a slideshow. All of the images are now on the timeline and I want to add crossfades. Do I have to do this manually to each slide or is there an easier way?

I have Vegas Movie Studio 4 and I can't do it in that.

However, a version of Vegas that will handle scripting will allow you to do it, with the proper script, which was made for that version. In my version of Vegas Pro down to I think Vegas5 scripting is/was an option.

If you really want to do a lot of this work then I would strongly advise you to upgrade. If I understand you correctly, it would do this task in under 10 seconds. And THEN you might want to change it!

    What's your time worth?

    Thanks Grazie

I've downloaded Vegas Pro for trial but can't find a script that will add the crossfades.

It's important to me that the software be both powerful and stable.

As you say time is important. I do'nt want to spend time and money on something that does not do the job.
