Default NewBlue crash in Vegas 8 pro

Hi all! I use Vegas 8 pro about some months, but now I have a problem with the newly installed NewBlue fx. It's goes up without problem but when I use anything from the fx list, and then save the project, next time when I load it back, its freez at 26-28%, and lock-up the Vegas. When I clear the serial number of NewBlue from registry, everything is ok, but certanly the NewBlue logo is come out on the right down corner. The Vegas is on independent partition. But when I install all things (Vegas, NewBlue) to the my old, slow Win xp partition, its work just fine. Something is missing from the independent Win xp installation. The strange is the Vegas install work properly since few months, only the NewBlue install do it wrong. Somebody meet that thing before? Thanks for help!

    Forgive the impertinant question...

Is your XP a paid for version, non wares or dodgy keys? Same for vegas and newBlue?

I ask cos we live in morally ambiguous times and many people use wares and often have the type of issue you describe.
