    Default economical CRT monitor for video editing

    hi
    hope this hasn't been posted before!
    looking to purchase a smallish CRT monitor to colour correct output from Avid.
    They all seem to be component, is there a firewire model available I could search for or is this the wrong question?
    output is from PC and I have a DSR 40 DV CAM tape deck
    many thanks for any advice? Not a teccie

    i don't recommend computer monitors (lcd, crt...) for color correction...
    if u're not looking for an expensive professional monitor, it would be better to use your "tv" to do the color corrections u need...
