    Hi Braden,
You asked this same question nearly a year ago and received an answer...

Tim? I don't get the reference to that "link"? That one was about "stutter" this is about "colour picking"?

It's a cinch, but how well it works dpends how unique the col of the bike is. This method avoids any masking but you may fins other similarly blue thigs are not supressed.

    Use the secondary colour corrector.

Clcik on 'select effect range' dropper tool, draw a box on the colour you wih to preserve.

    Tick 'invert mask'

    Reduce the saturation tool.

    Done.

Look harder, Grazie and Braden, look harder. Braden's 2 line questionwas a three parter, the last part being "and last can you make one object a specifc color??" and Chapman Photography (Will's) reply was a link to Ed Troxel's newsletter article about creating the "Sin City" effect.

I didn't think it was that obtuse

I wish I could claim I had a fantastic memory. Or even a memory at all. Or even a memory at all.

Sadly nothing remarkable. I was certain it had been discussed here before and simply ran a search on "Sin City". Seeing Braden's name come up in one of the posts meant I couldn't resist posting

Nowadays I rely upon remembering key phrases for search engines so I can look up all the things I'd forgotten.

Now, what was that key phrase I meant to look up before retiring for the night...? Oh yes, "foreplay..."
