    Default Newbie says Hi....

Just joined this morning and wanted to say hi...

My two biggest hobbies are hi-speed motorcycling and trying to record the same on film.

(yes....the speedo is in mph )

    One example here:www.video.geoffreid.com/jd4/windyflyer.wmv

Sorry about the jerky load.... forgot to .wmv it

    Another here: www.video.geoffreid.com/gnr3/gnrtaster1.mpg.

Although I find Pinnacle Studio 8 easy to use when capturing and editing stuff I think it's dvd creation is naff.... I always end up saving the finished project back to tape and loading it into a different dvd creation package and adding menus there....

This is a pain in the butt, can anyone recommend a good, yet relatively inexpensive program that will actually do it all ??

    Welcome!

Berkshire eh? Hope you're not ripping down my street at 100mph on your bike after dark!

Can't downlaod from the links while at work (bloody firewall we have here! ). Hopefully I'll have time and leisure to check them out when I get home tonight.

he he he .... nope!, never do the dirty on my own doorstep, or anyone elses.... we, (Mrs R & myself), travel far north for our jollies

The top clip was filmed on an RAF runway last month.

Cam was rock solid. Nice. Would have been "cool" to have a text overlay in the top right indicating the speed.

Would you like me to move to help the forum's Feng Shui? Of course I would like copious amounts of relocation expenses (enough to purchase the new XL2, Boris Red, umm.. a Glidecam 4000, ....)

Ah, that was a dig at a guy who offered, for a few hundred 's to 'help' me build a website.

I did it myself, shoddy though it may be, then I got bored with it and haven't visited it for months...... absent Father kinda thing. :(

I'd almost forgotten it was there.

Millsy: The guys surname is Adams.
