    Default Reccomended Camcorder

Hi, Im new here (First Post), but I wanted some help!

I have 1000 to spend on a new camcorder. I want to use it to make semi-professional films and documentarys. I want it to display high quality video on tv's and also be uploadable to the computer for editing.

    Any reccomendations would be great!

Check out the Canon HV-30 on Jessops website, it's a tape based camera (mini dv) and delivers Hi Def picture quality. Canon have two other models a HV-20 and a HG-10 which is a hard disk camcorder, both of which are slightly cheaper than the HV-30 which is priced at 799.99. That leaves you with 200 for either accessories or software.
