Default Previewing on a second monitor

In order to preview on a second monitor - I understand I need to install another video card into my PC.

Can anyone suggest a suitable model?

Ultimately, it would need to cope with HD as well as SD. Does that make any difference?

    Cheers

No you dont. Most decent cards will run 2 monitors - check the docs for your card.

Thanks - i never even bothered looking to see. You are spot on.

Second monitor is now working - but now all the video effects have stopped working. They are all there, but just don't materialise.

    Any thoughts?

Check you haven't got them turned off in the PREVIEW. The button immediately above the preview (a square with a circle in it) allows you to preview with FX bypassed or FX bypassed on left or right side only (useful for comparing events with/without FX)
