Default problems with video size on vegas pro 8

So I updated from vegas 6 to 8 and cant seem to make this work anymore =(

What i do is uncompress the file I want to render and then render it. The video file I just rendered is from filming my own screen using a program called fraps.

So if what I recorded has the same size as my screen the rendered video should occupy my whole screen when i watch it on full screen mode or at least that's how it used to be on vegas 8.

Now, instead im getting black borders on all sides (bottom, up, right and left). So what do i have to do to make it work again?

PS: Sorry for my poor english =p

Depends, is it wares or did you pay a few $100 for it - it makes a difference.

Im not sure it's a friend program that he let me use it, seems legit tho.

Also found out that while I'm currently using a 1280x1024 to record I actually have the half size slected, so im generating a 640x512. Still wasnt it supposed to enlarge it when I put it on full screen?

    Ty for all help

Well, if you have paid good money for it and it isnt working then you may have a faulty product and sony should be able to help you out.

For SONY products to work as they should, one has to follow the correct registration procedure. FIRSTLY a Serial number is applied and then SECONDLY, the insertion of an Activation code.

    Grazie

Thought it was just some option I was forgetting when trying to render. So i'll try and use the product support they give.
