Default Best way to export for DVD?

PPro CS3 gives an option to 'export to encore'...is this the best method? Or shall I export the project as an .avi first, and then import to Encore? Sorry, I am an encore noob... are there any other settings that I need to be vary of?

    Thanks in advance.

I like exporting to a really good quality video via the Adobe Media Encoder rather then export to Encore but If you are just going to use the video in Encore then that's probably a good option.
