    Default Filter Needed

Hi all, firstly, verypleased to be here

In Vegas there is a great filter 'Glow' that i sometimes put something in only to bring it back into Premiere which i much easier to edit with than Vegas. Is there a similar filter in premiere or perhaps a plugin i could buy with similsr effects.

Thanks in advance for any help

I'm a Premiere user and not familiar with Vegas or th effect you're after. Can you describe the 'glow' filter/effect for us? I might know of somethign similar.

If you could upload a short video (say in wmv) of the effect, better still! (You can upload to the forums when posting your message.)

Thats great thanks. Just done this ( sorry about the subject matter ) but it does show the vegas's glow effect

    - i've seen the sapphire plugin effects which nigh on equal it but a little too expensive for me at nearly $1700

I havenl't played with it but if memory serves doesn't Premiere Pro have a 'levels' filter?

You should be able to get a reasoanble approximation of that effect from there if it works like it does in Photoshop.

Having said that though, the Magic Bullet set if supposed to be very good so do look at it.

I think you can do this from within premier with the alpha glow filter.

Hi tongachutt - i'd tried that before, the filter Alpha Glow in my premier puts no effect on the clip whatsoever
