    Default Flicker dissapear effect..

Okay, so i have got footage of my mate standing still, and i want him to flicker and dissapear away. Now, i have the footage of the background, and the footage of my m8 standing infront of a greenscreen.

How do i acheive this effect?

EDIT: I also want some white flashes to go with the music, how do i do this?

    What software? (especially what version?)
    Basic principle:
    Background only on track 2
Your M8 only (green screen) on track 1
Use chroma key effect on track 1
White flashes - try very quick fade through white or inserting brief white generated media or very quick bursts of extreme brightness & contrast FX or very quick bursts of extreme glow fx or....or...or

Best way is not to bother with the screen, imho. Just film him in the scene, then out, edit - job done with no weird lighting differences to worry about.

Indeed. But as I read it, neon didn't have the footage of the talent against the background. Having read the OP again, it's unclear.

yeah I agree with mark, just have two clips, with person there and not, and the transition between the two clips can be done with the flicker effect of a small flash or pan/crop movement using keys within the end of the first or 2nd or both clips, maybe a lil flash transition as well. between the two
