Default Import a dvd into premiere

I got a dvd with a footage burnt in a camera. Is it possible to import that video into premiere straight from the dvd and edit it.. and then export to avi or w/e..?
    Thank you!

Probably, copy that footage to your computer disk and then change the vob files into mpeg and then open it using adobe premiere, it should work, i have done it altough i have heard that some dvds won't work, never happened to me but you never know .
If it doesn't work rip the dvd .
