Thread: DVD Architect 4 and Playlists

  1. Default DVD Architect 4 and Playlists

I'm having a weird problem with a playlist in DVDA 4.

I have a short playlist (2 titles). When I preview in DVDA, the Next button properly skips through the chapters in Title 1, then skips to Title 2.

However, on the DVD created the Next button won't go beyond the first title. I've tried it on three different standalone DVD players and I get the same behavior. Everything else matches the project's behavior in DVDA preview.

Anyone seen this and have a suggestion?

  2. Default

    OK, I solved it myself.

It seems that DVDA ignores the order in the playlist, at least as far as the Next command is concerned.

The titles are numbered based upon their position in the project overview window. In order for the Next command to work to skip to the next title, that title must appear beneath the previous title in the list. In other words, the Next command won't go from title 2 to title 1, regardless of their relative positions in the Playlist.
