    Default stabilization excercises?

Is there any stabilization excercises you can do or technics to make your shots stable without a tripod, just holding it in your hand/hands? Thanks

Cup the camcorder in both hands and pull your elbows into your abdomen, if you can stop breathing for 10 seconds while you record the shot even better. Make use of any available supports, such as tables, backs of chairs, car bonnets, car roofs, fences, walls, barriers. In fact anything that is reasonably horizontal and won't move or collapse when you lean on it.

To add to that, if you do find yourself holding the cam with one hand, always support that arm with the other by placing your elbow on your hand. However, I find the best way to hold a small camcorder is with both hands as Nikosony suggests - ignore the hand strap!
