    Default DC10 Card & Software

    G'day all,

First visit here, things look good.
Quick question on the DC10 card I have had for a year or so now. I intend to use it for capturing the old home videos, then edit all the crap out and eventually burn to DVD.
With it I got Studio which I have used to make a couple of small video cds.
I'm in the process of upgrading my computer, from a celeron 900, 256mb ram, WIN Me to something bigger, faster with a DVD writer.
Does anyone know if I can use other software with this card, or will it only recognise the pinnacle s/w. I haven't had a lot of problems so far. I bought a PC magazine the other day that had Ulead VideoStudio 6SE on the cd and was wondering if this would work.

Just after some others thoughts, so looking forward to seeing what develops here.

    Cheers for now,

I can't vouch for the validity of this, but from reading user comments it appears the capture with the DC10 will work with just about any capture software on Win98/ME, but only Pinnacle Studio applications on Win 2000/XP.
