The general consensus is that you can't just download AE and 'play a little' to pick it up. You can expect a full three month leanring curve on this tool and that's spending 9-till-5 on it, before you really get to grips with what it is an what it can do.
Still, I expect there are some 'standard jobs' you can pick up quite quickly. I understand the slow-mo is much better then Premiere's for example.
Buy Boris Red then raffle it off in these forums (and make it so only Liquid Edition users can enter then I stand a good chance of winning )![]()
