Default Dealing with 4:3 and 16:9 in the same project

Hey guys, I've got a bunch of holiday footage I'm trying to compile. The problem is that some of it is in standard 4:3 and some of it is in widescreen 16:9. Can someone tell me the best way to go about putting this footage together? I'm using Premier Elements 4.

    Cheers

Another option, if it's just holiday videos principally for family and friends, is to ignore the difference. Start a project in 4:3, import all your footage. 4:3 footage will be look fine (i.e. will use all the screen), 16:9 footage will be letterboxed (which most people are used to watching these days). I did this when doing a family video for my husband's birthday that used old and new footage. they don't care about production values.
