This is a 1 min film that I was paid to edit.
The 2 producers were paid a (small) commission to make a film about genocide in the late 60s in Bangladesh.
I was supplied with the bare animation with no text or sound or clever bits (not even the muzzle flashes) , the stills and the video used right at the end, and the quote at the start.
It was hard work - a deadline - 1 min time limit and working via messager and phonecalls for the most part made things interesting.
You need to be in the target audience to get the film really.
With all the umms and arrs I logged about 30 hours work. And no i dint get paid 30 x 25 = £750 - nowhere near - thier comission was a measly £500.
Happy to do for much less as they were hot asian babes and it's all good networking.
Is going to be online, shown at the Dubai arts fair in march and touring the independant arty circuit apparently.
