    I have just taken a 50th anniversary video and tranfered it to dvd --- plays great.

    I am confused - you edited and produced the dvd.... er...
    or
    did it go direct from camera to disc ?

    Surely your editor has facilities to adjust brightness - do i have the wrong end of the stick ?

    Default heres what i did

    just to clear things up heres what i did
    shot anniversary celebration
    transfered to my dvd recorder under my telly
    edited out the bits i didnot want ( on dvd recorder)
    i now have the annerversay on dvd which is slightly dark in places

    solution required

    ==== simply adjust the brightness

    i am sure this is possible---- hopefully all of the experts out there will not reply in the Harry Enfield style of " you shouldnt of done that"
