Default Burn HD video on DVD

    Hi,

I have a JVC Everio GZ-HD3U, it records videos on the format 1440x1080.

But when i try to burn it on a DVD using NERO it resizes the video to 720x480.

How should i proceed to burn these videos on DVD in the real format??

    Thanks!

You will need a blu ray burner - 200
    Sony dvd architect 4.5 - 500 (with vegs 8.0)
Blu ray discs are about a tenner.

i wouldnt bother - to take advantage of the format you really need a camera that costs 2000 upwards.

edit - just thought, there is a cheaper way - I think dvd archtect 4.5 can burn 'hi def files onto an ordinary dvd too - 20 mins per dvd I think.

You could also output your movies in WMV HD format.
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...o/hdvideo.aspx

There are some DVD players that are capable of playing WMV HD dvds.
dvd player that can play wmv hd content - Google Search

Or you could explore the various options of outputting PC-based content straight to your HD-ready TV, assuming you want local playback.
