Thread: Ulead VideoStudio 11-adding credits

    Question Ulead VideoStudio 11-adding credits

    Hi,
How can I add credits before a video file. I don't want it as an overlay but before my video. I tried movie maker but it's not suitable background wise. It gives me a blue backdround which doesn't go with the video I am editing. Is there another way?
    Thanks

My quick and dirty suggestion is that you take s still picture or frame like a JPEG and open it in picture editing software and remove all of the graphic/image to create a blank frame or whatever color you want.

Then import this blank frame into your editing program and drop it into the timeline as a still picture.

The set the view time of this blank frame as long as your credits will scroll and fade or whatever text effect you choose and then create the titles or credits and put them in the appropriate timeline location and at the end of the credits that appear over this background then you can simply cut to your video or flip or barndoor or disolve or push or drop or however you care to make that transition.

I've done this tons of times when making simple home movies and it's not high tech but works really well.
