    Default Pistol grips for Camcorders

Due to an old injury I can only use my left arm to hold up a camcorder and as all camcorders are made for use in the right arm! I need to use a pistol grip or similar to be able to use one. Any ideas on where I might get one? and how efficient they are in use.

I think you may need to improvise a bit. I have a pistol grip for my s gun mic - the grip would be ideal for a camcorder. All you would need to do is attatch a tripod plate to the grip.

Try creative video or e bay for the grip. I think mine is made by rycote. Rycote - Pistol Grip Handle

Thank you for that Mark. That is a good idea. I shall do a bit of detective work now!
