Default Nice compositing on a budget

I came across this clip when I was browsing through the blog of Videocopilot.net. I thought it was worth posting here, it could be inspiring to some, and goes to show lots of cool things can still be achieved on a (tight) budget.

I don't know how truly TIGHT the budget was.

Sure there were only 3 guys and a camera on the principal filming.

But it was the BBC. They didn't say how many man hours were spent on the actual compositing.

I have to smile at lot of the comments on ACs site assuming that this was some kind of clever bunch of amateurs , whereas of course in reality they could call on the resources of the Beeb during post.

Very cool, though! Thanks for pointing it out

Yeah, you're probably right about the 'budget', hehe.

But I like the simplicity, basically, of the tools and methods used in this clip, it's not difficult to get your hands on things like the ones shown in this video.
