Default adobe encore DVD is a butt head.

OK so adobe encore 1 had this patch available on their website because everytime you tried to burn a DVD+R it would tell you some error. i downloaded the patch, and it says find adobe encore dvd file path, and i browsed and direced it to the folder. and it says "cannot find file specified" or whatever. any one else have this problem? im getting sick of useing MyDVD

Sounds like the patch isn't seeing the correct version of the executable. Has it been modified? Are you using an already patched version? Or is this a pre-release beta?

For now, you can build an image and then burn this using Nero.

which is the best way to do it anyway, because of the 'other' Encore DVD bug

there's a bug in the latest version that on some (and I repeat SOME) burners the s/w will only ever burn at 1x speed and ignore your 4x or 8x speeds that are available.

personally, I ALWAYS build a DVD on my hard drive and then open Nero. I find that a lot easier for multi copies of anything.

Apologies for the UK link but I'm sure you can 'translate' it from "International English" to "American English" (as Adobe would say) eh?

That's because everything in England is now getting outsourced to India. So no jobs and, soon enough, no language either

I mean, how many people spell the word for 'typeface' as "fount" nowdays. Just look it up in the "Collins Concise International English Dictionary"

Ahh, but it's been said that the American accent and language is more of a "pure" version of english - i.e us Brits have developped what we had.
