Firstly, I've never heard of that board before and tend to stay away from products that have no track record. Premiere 6.5 is a very old version of that software and may not work properly with digital video or have the correct settings in it to allow you to capture video correctly. One of my computers is also an AMD Athlon but it is a 4000+ which means it has a 2.1Ghz dual core processor, so does that mean your processor is around a 1.4Ghz, 1.6Ghz or 1.8Ghz?

You might be able to do video capturing and editing with it but it may take all day. You'd really need to upgrade to Windows XP as 2000 is now an old operating system and may not be up to the job, as far as I know everyone on here is using some version of either XP or Vista or Mac OS X (correct me if I'm wrong). Does your computer have a Firewire port or a spare PCI slot, Premiere is set up to work best with only Firewire and nothing else.

Windows XP Professional, a PCI Firewire card (costing around 15/20), a Firewire cable, either an Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyperthreading or AMD Athlon 64X2 dual core. Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 is available to download for 30 days and is more up to date than the version you currently have.
