    Default Powerdirector 6 ffdshow issue???

    Hi,
I have had powerdirector 6 for a while now and its been going a charm. Recently I started having some problems with media player codecs and re-downloaded the k-lite codec pack. Now I have had some problems with powerdirector! The program works fine until I want to produce a movie, where it crashes after about 50% and theres another funny problem. SOme of the thumbnails for movie clips go strange colours but play in correct colours, heres a pic, you can see the colour is all messed up in the thumbnail

I think the problem may be to do with ffdshow, does anyone know the best and most stable version to use with this program? any other help would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers
    -Tim

turns out the video files must have been corrpted or something, resaved them in an uncomressed AVI format (they were AVI to start with) now its workin fine

hmm I still think there is an issue with ffdshow as te program now opens many icons for ffdshow on the taskbar during use and randomly crashes every 10 minutes or so, does anyone know how to fix this?
