  1. Default Win Media Player - Poor Picture

    Hi,

I have rendered a short film using the deinterlaced settings in Vegas as it is only for playing on a pc. When i play it in windows media player there are still lots of jaggies yet when i play it using GOM player it looks ok.

What sort of video file is it ? Have you used any track motion effects or slomo?

    Hi Mark,

Its an avi rendered with the standard PAL DV template in Vegas. There are no effetcs, slo'mo or anything. It seems to be around areas with high contrast such as black clothes against a red chair etc.

    Matt
